As we begin a New Year, many of us will be thinking about a new start. For some of us, this might mean a new job, a New Year’s resolution or a new life style choice.

As part of the Healthy Ireland Initiative, Pembroke Library are hosting a workshop on “Power and Positivity” at 6:30PM on Tuesday, the 15th of January. Donaghmede Library is hosting the “Power and Positivity” workshop on Wednesday, the 23rd of January at 11AM. This workshop will explore practical tips to bring positivity back into our lives.

Healthy Ireland, a government led initiative, is the national strategy to improve health and wellbeing placing a focus on prevention, individual awareness and keeping people healthy for longer.

Public libraries are currently delivering the nationwide Healthy Ireland at Your Library Programme that will establish libraries as a valuable source within the community for health information.

The Healthy Ireland at Your Library programme will continue to build on this and contribute to improving the health, wellbeing, and overall quality of life of communities and individuals at all life stages.
