Chinese New Year will be taking place across the country from Friday, the 24th of January until the 10th of February. This year is the year of the Rat.
The Rat possesses many of the qualities we need
to be successful in our own careers including
energy, optimism and hard work.
This year’s Dublin Chinese New Year programme
is one of the strongest to date, with a
jam-packed schedule of exciting events set to
take place across the city.
There are a number of interesting and
informative workshops, lectures and talks including ‘How are Chinese Migrants Adapting to Life in Ireland’ on Monday, the 27th of January, at St. Laurence’s – TU Dublin Grangegorman and a Family Sketch Workshop in Hugh Lane on Sunday, the 26th of January, not to mention the Opening Ceremony in Kildare on Thursday, the 23rd of January and the Chinese Student and Scholar Association's New Year celebration.
