publicjobs has launched a new Talent Attraction campaign, ‘From Passion to Profession’, which aims to promote careers in the civil and public service, as well as roles publicjobs manages on behalf of our civil and public service clients.
The campaign demonstrates how careers in the civil and public service can align with people’s passions and interests, and how people can make a difference on issues and in areas they deeply care about by pursuing them.
The accompanying campaign line of ‘there’s a public job for that’ dovetails with our refreshed publicjobs brand in supporting a theme of diversity. Spreading the word that, no matter who you are or where your interests lie, there’s a career in the public sector for you. It also speaks to the wide variety of attractive, interesting and purposeful roles we have waiting to be discovered. To give an authentic representation of this modern, diverse civil and public service, the campaign's cast members are real serving civil or public servants.
'From Passion to Profession' supports the publicjobs mission of 'recruiting a diversity of people for the public service with the talent, character and commitment to deliver for Ireland' and the campaign is due to run in dual language (English and Irish) across various media platforms from 23 September to 1 November.
Speaking about the campaign, CEO of publicjobs Margaret McCabe, said, ‘As competition for talent and skills remains high, our new campaign aims to drive awareness of and interest in careers in the civil and public service, and in roles we manage on behalf of our clients. As the centralised provider of recruitment, assessment and selection services for the civil and public service, publicjobs has a key role to play in driving talent attraction for the civil and public service, as we seek to address recruitment challenges and to continue to attract high calibre candidates.’
Head of Market Engagement at publicjobs, Niall Leavy, added, ‘Following the introduction of our refreshed customer facing name and identity in June, we continue to evolve how we market our services and the huge variety of careers and roles on offer in the civil and public service. Our new talent attraction campaign is underpinned by an innovative creative concept, which puts forward a fresh and modern view of a civil and public service career, and seeks to engage new audience groups who may not have considered a career in the civil and public service previously’.
