Cavan General Hospital is a 242-bed hospital located in Cavan Town Co. Cavan. It is an acute Model 3 hospital providing a broad range of scheduled and unscheduled care services to the population of Cavan and surrounding counties within its catchment area. The catchment area includes counties Cavan, Monaghan and extends to counties Meath, Longford and Leitrim.

The Hospital is part of the HSE Dublin North East Region and works closely with regional partner hospitals including larger tertiary centres in Dublin, through established referral and care pathways.
