publicjobs proudly hosts second 2025 ED&I Advisory Board

Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting the third meeting of our Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Advisory Board in Chapter House. Our new Head of ED&I, Louise Kavanagh, chaired the session and welcomed attendees from across Government and the private sector. It was a truly meaningful event, enriched by thoughtful insights and powerful contributions on fostering workplace culture and community, embedding diversity in our selection practices, and developing meaningful measures of progress.

A heartfelt thank you to Siobhán McKenna, ED&I Policy and Practice Lead at DPER, for expertly moderating a brilliant and thought-provoking panel discussion on staff-led networks. We are also incredibly grateful to our fantastic guest panellists - Sandra McMahon (Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment), Dom Brodzisz (Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment), Jamie Cosgrove (Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment), David McKeon (ESB), and Samuel Riggs (Iarnród Éireann, Irish Rail) for sharing their powerful insights and experiences.

We would also like to extend our thanks to all of our ED&I Advisory Board members. Working together, we can translate great ideas into real progress and foster a more inclusive and diverse Civil and Public Service for Ireland.
